Payment Disbursement Profiles

Create and manage disbursement profiles you can use in bills.

Q1. What is a payment disbursement profile?

  • Payment disbursement profiles enable you to disburse online payments in Bills.

Q2. How do I create a payment collection profile?

  • Connect payment services then go to Settings → Digital Payments Profiles Disbursements and fill in the required fields:

    • Fill in the general details

      • Profile Name

      • Currency

      • Payment Method

        • Note: If no payment service with disbursement is set up, no disbursement payment methods will be available.

      • Payment Account

      • Source of Funds

Q3. Can I create multiple disbursement profiles?

  • Yes. Create multiple disbursement profiles for different use cases.

  • You can also use a single digital payment connection to create multiple disbursement profiles.

Q4. Where can I use payment disbursements?

  • Bills and Bills Payments.

Q5. How do I edit a payment disbursement profile?

  • Hover over or click a payment disbursement profile → 3-dot icon → edit

Q6. Why doesn’t my connected payment service appear in the payment methods list?

  • This can happen for two reasons:

    • You haven’t connected a payment service with disbursement enabled

    • The connected payment service does not support disbursements

Q7. Is it possible to track gateway fees from payment disbursements?

Q8. Can I pass processing fees to my suppliers?

  • This function is not yet supported. If you’re interested, please reach out to [email protected]

Q9. Why can't I enable payment disbursements?

  • Make sure you’re using a business account (APIs are usually only available for business accounts) and that your payment connection is active.

Q10. How do I use disbursement profiles in bills?

Q11. I created a payment connection, why did it not appear in my disbursement profile list?

  • This means that the payment service you connected does not support disbursements. See the list of supported gateways here.
